Camper

As a boy I camped often—under the stars, or in rock shelters, tents, lean-tos, cabins—and received my Camping merit badge as Boy Scout. In the accompanying photo I am between camps during a four-day trip in the Smokey Mountains in 1979. (See Camp Cook and Outdoorsman.).
