Crime Historian

Like "crime historian" Donald Rumbelow (who was so designated by History Channel's Mystery Quest, Dec. 12, 2009), I am a Ripperologist and—in addition to the Jack the Ripper horrors—I have written histories of many other crimes: an 1850s murder and hanging in Morgan County, Kentucky (see my The Peddler Legend, 1988), the forensically important "case of the Two Will Wests" (J. of Police Science and Administration, Dec. 1980 , 406-413), the Sacco and Vanzetti case and the Lindbergh Kidnapping (in my Crime Science, 1999, 101-108, 157-164), and many, many others.
