Exile

As a Vietnam War Resister, I was a Refugee to Canada, living in exile there as a Federal Fugitive from late 1968 until being pardoned by President Jimmy Carter in January 1977. (This photo of me during my first few months in Totronto was made by my first wife, Ruth Whitehead.)
