Freelance Broadcaster
During 1969-1970, Toronto writer Doug Fetherling and I freelanced some programs for CBC Radio. They included one on Martin Luther King assassin James Earl Ray and his subsequent Canadian flight (referenced in the press release shown) and another on Houdini in Canada. Typically, I did the interviewing, we wrote the scripts together, Doug did the editing and splicing, and I read the narration (or in the case of the Houdini special, that was done by a professional).
