Package Designer

In addition to being Inventor of a unique survival-kit container, as well as a Magic Kit Creator-all of which involved packaging design-I designed the packaging for the "Wild Rock." This was the brainchild of Capt. Dick Stevenson of Yukon River Tours, Dawson City, Yukon. He saw it as his "answer to the Pet Rock" of years before. Instead of the latter's rounded creek stone specimen, the Wild rock was a rough, mineralized sample from the Yukon wilderness and needed to be packaged accordingly. I selected a standard box of the appropriate size, had it colored yellow, and-wearing my hat of Graphic Artist-penned a drawing that transformed the box into a cage with wild eyes peering out. Unfortunately, in remote Dawson, the idea never caught on but it is forever enshrined in Dick's autobiography.
