In my various personas, I have occasionally received an award -- for example, for poetry (1967 Farquhar Award, University of Kentucky Department of English), paranormal investigation (2000 Distinguished Skeptic Award, Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal), science (2004 Isaac Asimov Award, American Humanist Association), questioned document examination (Certificate of Appreciation, The American Society of Questioned Document Examiners, August 5, 1991), and historical research (1995 gift for service to the Historical Confederation of Kentucky).
