Folklorist
Graduate studies in folklore were a part of my masters and doctoral work at the University of Kentucky. My published work as a folklorist includes an article, "Ambrose Bierce and Those 'Mysterious Disappearances' Legends" in the prestigious Indiana Folklore (13: 1-2, 1980). Among numerous other examples is my booklet, The Peddler Legend (see Book Publisher). I use folkloristics as an investigative tool in many of my cases.
