Photo Oil-Colorist

In the 1960s I used transparent oil colors to hand color photographs for family and friends. (I then had a much larger kit than the one shown here, but the technique is the same: using long-fiber cotton balls and swabs to rub on the color.) I have used the technique also to restore faded color photos. (See Antique Restorer.)
