Typewriter Artist

In the old days of the manual typewriter I tried my hand at producing some typewriter art-typically some design rendered (rather like cross-stitch needlework) with Xs.

Mercifully, only one example appears to have survived, but it required an order of magnitude greater difficulty. As shown here, it is a portrait of Abraham Lincoln-produced, not with Xs, but with the complete text of Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address." (This once graced the cover of a club's newsletter; see Mensa Member.)
