Writing Implements Aficionado
For over ten years I collected antique writing materials (old documents, quill-pen knives, inkstands, etc.) and produced the book Pen, Ink & Evidence (1993). It is illustrated with hundreds of photos, all from my "extraordinary collection" which became part of the University of Kentucky Library's department of special collections in 1995, when it was described as "a superb museum of the history of writing materials." Previously, the collection was featured in Southern Accents. (See also Collector, Historical Document Consultant.)
